Zero cost EMI
Altius Hospitals realizes and understands that people should not be deprived of medical procedures/ treatments due to high costs. Treatments are usually deferred as some of the treatments are not covered by health insurance, which is not recommendable due to time constraints. In light of this, we have partnered with reputable financing companies to offer financial support to patients receiving treatment at Altius Hospitals. The best feature of this financing option is that it is offered at 0% interest with the choice of easy installment repayment.
The financing procedure is quick and easy, with a typical turnaround time of one to two days. The finance company requires certain documentation for its verification process, and the process is largely online. The necessary documents have to be uploaded at Altius Hospitals for further processing. The financing company then verifies these documents to determine the eligible amount that can be sanctioned. The process is absolutely hassle-free and even the paperwork required is minimal. Every step of the funding procedure will be helped by the Altius Hospitals staff.
Following are the documents required:
- ID proof & address proof
- Cancelled Cheque
- Bank statement
- The estimated treatment cost (quoted by Altius Hospitals)
The loan amount is granted based on the applicant’s risk profile and ability to repay the loan. The sanctioned amount is directly paid to the hospital by the finance company at the start of the treatment. The EMIs commence from the next month post disbursal.
Some noteworthy points
- The patient gets a loan with zero interest. Hence, the patient or the family is not subjected to an additional financial burden.
- The amount to be disbursed will depend on the applicant’s ability to repay the loan.
- The patient undergoing treatment may ask a relative to serve as the primary applicant if they do not have a bank account or suitable address documentation. The people/patients might be the co-applicants.
- The process largely happens online. As a result, people need not visit the finance company’s office frequently. Most of the process is completed face-to-face at the Altius Hospitals’ counters.
- The patient/applicant will receive a refund if the treatment is discontinued for any reason or if the actual cost of the treatment is less than what was originally estimated.
- People may opt for extra funding from the same company if the treatment cost escalates than anticipated. That procedure is pretty easy.
- Based on their ability the patients may opt for EMI options like 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, or 12 months.
- Altius Hospitals will not fund the treatment nor is Altius a part of the financing company.
- It is purely a partnership between Altius Hospitals and the financing company to help patients.
- Altius Hospitals will not involve in the collection process of the installments, and it is the sole responsibility of the financing company to do the same.
